Advanced wireless
This section contains settings which can change the way the access point handles certain types of traffic. We recommend that you not change any of these settings unless you are already familiar with them or have been instructed to change them by one of our support personnel.
- Transmit Power
- You can lower the output power of the access point by selecting lower percentage Transmit Power values from the drop down. Your choices are: High, Medium, Low.
- WLAN Partition
- The WLAN Partition default value is "Disable," which allows stations to inter-communicate by connecting to a target AP. By enabling this function, wireless stations cannot exchange data through the AP.
- HT20/40 Coexistence
- Enable HT20/40 Coexistence can increase throughput, and reduce the compatibility.
User Limit
Set the maximum amount of users allowed per access point. "20" is recommended for the typical user.
